Showcase: Tohaa Gao-Tarsos

This weekend I finished up painting and basing my Tohaa Gao-Tarsos for infinity.  This was my first infinity model so it set the stage for my paint scheme for the Tohaa. I am still fighting with my lighting set up so I am Sorry for the darkish pics.

My first model for infinity is the Tohaa Gao-Tarsos with HMG.  I thought this guy was one of the coolest models in the Tohaa range.  While I haven't played enough to know how useful he is in the game, I do know he will be in my army for the first few games.

My 400th Post!!

Back when I started this blog I never really thought it would be something that I updated regularity.  I thought that I would update ever couple of weeks.  Post some pictures of my badly painted models, rant about the newest broken army, and post stories about how excited I was about my armies getting updated.  Well here we are 400 posts later.  So, in honor of my 400th post I thought I would take out all my armies and snap some pictures.  Be warned, lots of images incoming!

A new direction...

This blog has been mainly a 40k blog with a smattering of other games. When we moved to DC I had to find a new group of players to play with.  And I did I found a great group of guys that meet once a month to throw down some 40k and have a have a good time.  This leaves a big gap every month that I don't get to play any games and if I miss a gameday, like I did this month, it leaves an even bigger gap.  So I thought I should find some other way to get my gaming fix.

Showcase: Last of the alternate Meganobz

This weekend I finished up the last of my alternate Meganobz.  I went with the blue/gold combo of my Flashgits.  I am happy with how he turned out.  I think if I decide to get some more these might be the way I go.  Though those Kromlech ones are pretty cool.

Showcase: Alternate Meganobz

I finished highlighting my two painted up meganobz.  All that is left is to base them.  I have one more to paint and then the last of my June Purchases will be painted and I can go back to my Skitarii army.

Forgeworld: Tau Titan?

This weekend was Forgeworld Open Day.   There were a lot of cool models like the Iron Warrior Primarch, a couple of Chaos Titans, and the Mastodon Troop Transport.  The one thing that caught this Xeno lover's eye was the new Tau KX 139 Ta'unar Supremacy Armor.

WIP: Started Painting Meganobs

Over the weekend I wanted to get my new meganobz painted up. I thought a 3 day weekend would be enough to finish 3 models.  Little did I know how lazy I would be.  I did get some paint on them.  I got 2 of them with their basic colors and a good wash on them. 

WIP third Mantic Alternate Meganob

The last of the Mantic Meganob looks a lot different than the previous 2.  I am not a fan of this look and It really does not match the other 2.  I can't just let it not get used so I tried to make it work.

I decided I wanted some more meganobz but I am not eager to pay the $70 for 3 small models so I started to look for alternatives.  That is when I found the Deadzone Marauders Support pack.
