Hey everybody, sorry it has been a while since I have posted an update.  If you follow me on Facebook, you would have seen some picture of what I have been working on but with work being a busy as it is, I have not had time to type up actual blog post.  Well, I found some time so, here is an update on what I have been working on...

Showcase: Mega Armored Big Mek

I found a couple of hours to mod up an old meganob into a big mek to lead my cannons around.

I finished my big mek on bike.  I liked how he turned out.  I know I wanted to add some chipped paint but I really didn't like the tutorials I found so unless I get some better help I will keep him as is.

This weekend I went to a local game store.  They don't have any gaming room but they do sell second hand models. In this bargain bin I found a set of cadin heavy weapon teams (HWT) still on the sprue and another model that I think is a priest.  I got all this for $15.

Mek on bike: more options.

After posting yesterday's post I got a couple of comments telling me that I need a little more oomph to my model to make the Kustom Force Field (KFF) stand out. While I am happy with what I have done, I have had a nagging feeling in the back of my mind pretty much telling me the same thing.  I acquired a KFF from a morkanaut that I am thinking about cutting up to make the iconic KFF towers now I just have to figure out how to place them.

I  had some spare time to finish up my Big Mek on bike conversion.  I am a bit proud of him.

With the new book we now get an option for a big mek on bike with a kustom force field (KFF) or shock attack gun. While the shock attack gun seems funny, I want a KFF on a bike to help wit hthe 5++ save.
