As promised, today I have not one but 3 lists for you. I looked through the codex and I think I have come to the same conclusion that every one else has, this edition is about a lot of boyz.
With the new FOC having 3 mandatory troops, I think 60 boys is a min. If you want to take the formation you are at 60 just taking the min. 10 boyz disappear pretty quickly. So let's dive in and see what I am thinking about.

So the idea is to foot slog at the enemy. Have the lootas hold the fort while everyone runs forward. Have the ICs in the back of the first wave and have them detach on turn 2 to help the second wave try to live for a turn 3 charge if turn 2 is short. The shootas should be in range to shoot on turn 2 if a charge is unlikely. I think I have the models for this one. I might be a few shootas short. Soo many boyz.

The idea here is 3 mobs of boyz 2 with big meks and painboy with the other with the warbos and painboy with the shoota boys riding around in the battlewagons using their speed to give them some more range on their shootas. I think I might have some problem with popping transports but hopefully the lootas can help in that department. I might drop one of the big mobs to boost the other squads up to 30 models and maybe take a min squad of boyz or gretchen. I also thought about putting the ard boys on the field and having the squishy boys hiding in the battle wagon. I might play around with this list for a while.
My last army is one I can't field just yet. I might do some modifcations so I can but here is what I am thinking.

The idea is to have the mega nobs ride their battlewagon forward and hope to get into the fray with 2 flanking wagons it will ensure that the front armor is the only thing visible. the rest of the boys are foot slogging across the board but with the possibility of a WAAAGGHHH every turn I think we can get across the board using the Russian tactics of use your comrade as your shield.
So there you have it. My first 3 list of this codex. I want to try to get a game in next week. Last week I was on Vacation and this week I was playing catchup but I should be able to have some fun next week. I hope I find a game.
