Last night I played a game where the Tyranids won. Unfortunately I was playing IG. It was a good game we played Purge the alien with the hammer and anvil deployment. I made a few mistakes that left me open for retaliation. Here are a few mistakes I made.
I figured this is a good place for my to keep my thoughts about all my tabletop adventures. I will will keep thoughts about lists, pics of completed models and WIP, and maybe even some slimmed down battle reports.

The new improved IG BLOB list...
This week I am bringing out the IG with 8 tanks and a
vendetta. I have a feeling that it will
be like seeing the aftermath of a demo derby.
Before I go into my plans let’s take a look at what I am bringing.

Monday WIP
Now that 6th is here, a couple of my armies could use a new addition. Ever since I got the project blocks to make my defensive walls, I have wanted to make some sort of tower/bastion for the Necrons out of them. Now that bastions can be used in 40k, I have reason to fulfill this wish.

dual blob Necrons
My Thursday league has been upped to 1850 this week. I was hoping to play a few more small games since we ALWAYS play 1850. I decided to keep with the Necrons since my nids are still in the process of being reconstructed. Lets look at my list.

The learning continues....
6th Has been out for a couple weeks now. I have gotten 3 games in now. One with Orks and 2 with Necrons. While 3 games really is not enough games to get a true opinion of the edition, I do have some first impressions.

OH NO!!!
So Saturday night I was in a car accident. I do not want to go into exactly what happened but lets just say my car has less trunk space that it used to. On top of the car damage I had my Nids in my trunk. They did not fair all that well either.

First game with 6th edition.
Last night I played my first game of 6th
Edition. We are playing 5 weeks of “Let’s
Learn 6th Edition” with 1000 point armies. One of the guys said he has never played orks
and wanted to try them out. I was happy
to oblige.
