WIP: Necron Lychguard take 2

In attempt to find another metallic blue I am giving Vallejo's Artic Blue a shot.



The camera make it look almost purple but it is a deep blue.  

It is not a trasparent color like the gem paint is.  It is just a normal color so highlighting is more controlled.

The gem color is a brighter and more striking.   It is a bit more difficult to highlight since I have to do it before the gem layer. 

What do you guys think??
