This month has been a bit slow on completing projects. While I assembled a few set I didn’t finish many. I focused my attention on the Gloomspite Gitz boxset I purchased. I assembled and primed most of the box. I then started to paint my test models and now working on the units themselves. Let’s take a look.
Snarlfang riders
While not part of that box I feel these guys will be a big part of the army I will be fielding. I went with a range of colors on the wolves since I didn’t settle on just one. I think in the future I am going to be making the squads all one color of wolf that way it will be easier to track in the game. I went with yellow clothing for the actual goblins. It was going to be either yellow or orange and I did my test model in yellow and I like it so it stuck. With these five finished I went straight to the boss.
Droggz da Sunchompa
This is the named boss git for the wolves. It is a pretty cool model. I went with a red wolf to make him stand out. I plan to use the red wolf for my leaders only so other boss gits will get red wolves as well but none of the other squads. I love the look of this models and I have always had a soft spot for wolf riders, Heck, I complained that the orruks had boars to ride while the goblins got the cool wolves. Now I have both.
That is all I completed. I have another wolf rider finished but I have yet to finish the squad. I also worked on my warhound titan. I am almost done painting it and if all goes to plan I will use it in a 30K apocalypse game at the end of April. I hope you all have a great productive month and I hope you find the time to Slay the gray!
