New Year Resolution

 Welcome to the new year! As always, I want to take a look at what is on my plate and what I have seen previewed and predict what I will be working on this coming year.

 
Titans

I have several Titans still in the works.  I have my second Reaver titan almost finished printed. I also want to print a second Warhound in the Lucius pattern.  My warlord still needs to be painted.  I also have a few knights and a stompa to finish.  I might even try for the Necron titan but that is a longshot.

 

Mechanicum

I still have several mechanicum units to finish. I have several Ursarax and Thallax to paint as well as a Krios, Karacnos and Thanatar.  I printed some more Mirmydons which might be getting new models so I will probably get those.  There is also a new Battleforce coming with some skitarii leggy boys and a drone. So I still have a lot here to work on.

Goblins

When I get the urge, I have several wolf riders to work on.  I have 2 regular chariots and hopefully 2 character chariots to work on.  I have 2 squads of the larger wolves as well as 2 squads of the smaller wolves. Hopefully I can get motivated to get these painted.  I love these models so it will be cool to see them all finished.

Ironjaws

I still have several ironjaws to paint up.  I have several boars to paint. I wish they were wolves, but it is what it is. I have a couple of characters and a few foot soldiers to paint.  I bet if I focused, I could get these done quickly.

Votann

I have several Votann models.  3 Kapricus and a couple of earth shakers.  I still have 2 of the solo units to finish as well as a nother squad of steeljacks.  Lastly, I want to figure out a proxy for the melee versions.  I think I might use the necromunda Exo-kyns.  I think I can kit them out to be a melee-based unit pretty close to a steeljack.

Epic

Finally, hot on my list are my epic scale models.  I have several titans to paint, I have a warlord, another reaver, another warhound and 2 Direwolves.  I also want to print another reaver to play with a fist build. One thing we noticed when playing is that we need more line-of-sight blocking terrain. I have some buildings that would be nice to add to our terrain pool.  

 

I have several other odds and ends for the rest of my armies, but I feel these are going to be the focus or my hobby time this year. We will see what will happen.  I hope you have a great year, and I hope you can find some time to slay the gray.

End of the year recap

 

Hello all, I know my hobby reporting and output has slowed these last couple of months and I think that is a common thing.  That being said, it is time to look back at what I have done this year and see what I pledged and how true I stayed to that pledge. I have completed 46 projects which range from single infantry models to groups of infantry to vehicles to titans. These projects are all over the place with some being from Age of Sigmar to 30k to 40k to Necromunda and a bit of Titanticus thrown in. As always, I give infantry models 1 point, calvary 3 points small vehicles and monsters 5 points, large vehicles and monsters 10 point and titans 15 point.
