WIP: Grot tanks - Filling out the ranks!

After my grot tanks did decently the other day I wanted to try to fill out the ranks.  Forge world would be awesome but they are not in the budget right now but I had some old Ramshackle bits hanging around and then I saw a conversion made from some old toy that I found on ebay real cheap I thought I could make me some proxies until I get more from Forgeworld. 

Last of the Cult Mechanicus rumors.

If you follow the major news sites you are sure to know that the last of the Cult Mechainus(CM) has been spoted and details are flooding everywhere.  This week's white Dwarf will focus on the 2 types of priests (fulgurites and Corpuscariis), the HQ tech-priest dominus, and the White Dwarf Exclusive formation that combines Skitarii and CM and Imperial Knights.

Another Tuesday Leak Day!

Another Tuesday has come and we have another set of leaks from the upcoming White Dwarf.  This week we get to see the Kataphron Breachers / Destroyers.  I am really excited about this.  Atia from Bolter and Chainsword has given us some juicy pictures and translations.

Onager Dunecrawler

This weekend I received the next part of my Skitarii Army: The Onager Dunecrawler.  After painting up some troops I thought I would try out one of the vehicles.

New Formations for the Cult Mechanicus

Over on Faeit they have the latest leaks for the Cult Mechanicus.  This time we get to see some formation for the faction.  There is a couple I am very interested in.

Mechanius Troops are the Servitors

So the big rumor this week is that the Sevitor guys are actually the troops.  This does not rule out the priests as troops as well but with the limited count of models I would doubt there would be 2 different troops in this release.  That is unless this kit makes a troop and another slot along with the priests making a troop and another choice.  Right now all we have are rumors and some rules for the Servitors.

Thoughts about the New AdMech models...

With all the leaks of the new Cult Mechanicus, we got a good look at the models and some of the rules that are coming out within the next months. I was worried that I might have jumped the gun making the commitment to the Skitarii but after seeing the options I think I made the right choice.
