Ork Boys

I have not forgotten about 40k. While I do want to paint up the nighthaunt, I still prefer 40k to Age of Sigmar.  My backlog is still filled with orks, ad mech, primaris and of course the incoming genestealer cult.  With this is mind I finished up a couple of boys and even rebased them to the new 32mm bases.

Blockade's Goals for the New Year

Howdy all! After a pretty successful last year, I've got some new goals for next year.

I've kept it to three simplistic things. Paint, Finish, and No Buying!

Reikenor the Grimhailer

Continuing my work on the new army, I picked up Reikenor the Grimhailer to be one of my leaders.  My FLGS was having a "buy one get, one half off" sale and while I was picking up my chapter approved I decided to get half off Reikenor.

Nighthaunt test model

New year means new army.  In the dying embers of 2018 I decided to take the plunge into a second Age of Sigmar army. After many debates with myself I chose the nighthaunt.

Grenndal's Resolutions for 2019

Happy New Year!  It is another new year and it is time for my anual New Year's Resolutions post.  It is now a tradition that I throw out a list of items to work on in hopes to motivate me into getting more items painted.

Blockade's Year In Review

Happy-Almost-New-Years! I figured I would do a yearly round up. So many miniatures completed this year! Here's a brief round up of some of my favorite miniatures I've painted.

December Building Round-Up: Pallets & Spawn & Rogue Traders, Oh My!

Twas the Night before Christmas,
and all through the house,
All the creatures were purging
and cleaning
Especially the future spouse
Away terrain
Away paint
Away miniatures so small
To hide until the Yuletide festivities
are past for all.

Santa's Helpers

Merry Christmas Eve & Happy Holidays! Here at the Blockade household, we've been especially busy with trees and decoration & baking. But this month has also seen a variety of event & future event planning & even some miniature painting!
