March Update

 Hello all, Another month has gone by and I have had a little time to do some hobbying.  I took a break from all the robots and painted up some tyranids that have been chilling out on my table.  After that, it was right back onto the robots with the mother of all robots the Lucius Patterned Warlord Titan.  So, without any more stalling let’s get into it.

Termagaunts

Fist up were a few straggling gaunts that have been sitting waiting patiently for me to paint them up.  Most were regular fleshborers but one was an old version modified into a hormagant and one was a spine fist version.  I painted these using my markers.  I think those are a cool thing to use if you can get the correct colors and done need too fine of a tip.

Ripper Swarms

Right next to the termagaunts were a couple of ripper swarms from the Levithan box.  I don’t ten to use these guy as much as the other small bugs but they  were a quick job and more models off the list.  I like the old forgeworld version better since it is a pile of bugs verses just a handful but beggers can’t be choosers.

Ghamak Tervigon

The last bug was a big old monster of a model.  While I don’t think I needed another tervigon, I thought this was a cool take on the model.  I printed him up and painted him with my markers.  I know I still have a few tyranids to paint up.  I really should just line them up and go to town.  Anyway, I love the daddy model and welcome him into the hive.

Lucius Patterned Warlord Titan

While I didn’t finish this guy this month it is so big that just finishing a major piece should be an accomplishment.   I finished the torso of this awesome model.  Technically it is not finished since there are some touchups to work on and if I am really picky I could do some sanding and redo the painting on other parts.  Over all I am happy how it has turned out and will gladly put it on the board for some fun apocolypse games.  I will continue to work on its other parts in April and maybe have him completed to table top quality by then,
