Showcase: Primaris Aggresor

Most of this week has been to cold to prime models so I work stalled on my aggressors. I even tried a paint on primer with very poor results. Finally the weather warmed just enough to prime before dropping back into freezing temperatures.  I quickly primed the Aggressors and I was back in business.

Shadespire: Bonekutta

While I waited for the temperature to warm up enough for priming my Aggressors, I decided to paint my Shadespire miniatures.  I started batch painting them but quickly changed to focusing on one.  The result is a finished Bonekutta.

Blockade's Goals For the New Year

Hi All!

Blockade here, to share his lovely hobby goals with you all this year. Last year I was on a no-spending year for miniatures in an effort to paint as much as possible. I was successful for 11 months! December, and a new Games Workshop opening near me did me in. Argh! But that's okay, because this year I have the same goal. Paint way more than I purchase (hopefully purchasing nothing, as the budget does not allow for much.)

Happy New Year everybody.  The old year has past and we start 2018 a new.  As I have done the past few years, I want to plan out some projects to help guide me through my hobby life in 2018. Let's not dilly dally and hop right into them!

SHowcase: Primaris Intercessors

For my final post of the year I have my "Completed" Intercessors. 

WIP: Primaris Intercessors

This morning,  I thought that if I wanted to have any chance of finishing the Intercessor before the new year I needed to lay down the Agrellan Earth so it can crackle.  Hopefully, by the time I get home they will have crackled and I can add the sealing layer down so it can dry by the morning. That way I can finish the rest of the details before the end of the year.

Back to work!

Showcase: Primaris Lieutenant

Before the rest of the house woke on Christmas morning, I had a little time to finish my Primaris Lieutenant.  I was working on him along a few intercessors and instead of finishing the back painting I decided to finish him up first.
