Another month is in the books. It was a a pretty light month of hobbying for me this month with only four items completed. Granted one of those was a reaver titan but still not much to report.
Buri Aegnirssen
I think I will start with the small projects. First up is Buri Aegnirssen. This is the new leader of the Votann. I am not sure what all he brings to the table, but he is cool with a dead tyrranid warrior on his back. I decided to paint that tyrranid in my colors and maybe in the future add more nid bits to the basing for future Votann. Other than that, he was straight forward to paint. It was nice to get back into painting some Votann models. With Shorehammer coming be prepared to see some more.
Steeljacks
Speaking of more Votann, I also had a new set of Steeljacks. I kitted these up with the big guns not the close combat. I am trying to find a model to make the close combat version since I am not a fan of the tall robot for an army of dwarves. But these will work for the gun variant.
Spinefists
So, the Army Painter released some new speed paint pens. They had a green that is a little darker than the color I use. I wanted to try it out and compare the results. First off, I really like how it works. If I could get all my paint like this, I would. Here are some comparison shots.

Lucius Pattern Reaver
The big boy is the last thing this month. I did this guy in resin and while I love him I could have done better. Like with the Warhound I have a problem finishing the build. I should go back and smooth out some of the transitions I am just a bit impatient and really afraid any thing I do has the chance to ruin it more instead of improving it. On the table it is awesome but I can see where I can make it better. I might just try to do it again or fix this one but for now he is done.
I really didn’t like the bottom part of the legs for this model so I did some modeling and I like how these turned out. I also changed up the thigh plates. I also had to find a missile launcher for this model. My first try was huge. This one is more accurate. I am not sure what I will do with the old one. Maybe make it a missile battery?
Well that does it for this month. I have more Votann on the table as well as several Titanticus sized titans. It should be fun. Get out there and slay that gray!
