Genestealer Cult Magus

Last night I had some time to finish the new Magus model for my Genestealer Cult.  The model doesn't have any new, fancy rules over the old magus but this will give me a second magus painted and she is ready to lead her troops.

Odds and Ends

This weekend I have had little motivation to paint so I decided to start the great ork rebasing project as well as some other odds and ends.

Metamorph and Atalan update

Earlier this week, I showed the work I have done on a Metamorph and a Atalan Jackal.  Last night I got a little more work done.

Painting While Traveling

While on the road, the past week I decided to try and take some brushes and paint and get a little painting done while I travel.  While I didn't get a lot done, I did manage to get some paint down on a couple of models.

I am back!  Sorry for the blackout but I was traveling last week and did not upload any content. I went to DC to meet up with The Tabor Warhammer League as well as Pimpcon and his gaming group for their annual battle.

Using the Genestealer Cult Codex as a Chaos Cults Codex

They're ready to lead the Wisdom Hunters to the promised land.

As you've seen, Grendal is busy showing off his newly finished, well, Genestealer Cult everythings. I picked up my copy of the code today, intending to use it with my Renegades and Heretics army.  I know some purists are very angry/loud about demanding a new Lost and Damned Codex, or getting the Renegades & Heretics list updated (both of which I approve), but what's a nascent tyrant-in-the-making to use in the meantime? Obviously, the newly released Genestealer Cult Codex.

With just a few counts as models and some loving conversions, you can make this list into a Chaos-based cult, rather than a Xenos based one. It's a bit of a text heavy post, so sorry in advance.

Final Aberrant

With the finishing touches added early this morning, I completed my goal of have the Aberrants done before the new models get released.

I found some time last night to finish up another Aberrant.  I only have one left before my self imposed deadline.

Finally Back to Aberrants

Now that the Nighthaunt that were on my workbench are done I am swinging back to the Genestealer Cult.  On my quest to have all my Aberrants done before the new models come out, I bore down and was able to finish one of the three remaining Aberrants.
