On the move...

As some of you know I am leaving my current area (Metro East of St Louis) and heading to the Buckeye State.   I am hoping to find a place in the Dayton area for my bugs to infest.  I found a shop called Epic Loot that runs a tournament once a month.  I hope that I can catch a pickup game or two during the off weeks. But all that is in the future. The topic of today is the move itself. 

Orks and Forts

With the year of the bug drawing to an end my mind has started to wander thinking about my other beloved armies.  Namely my Orks.  I have been looking at the new buildings and I have been thinking about getting one of them to go with my orks.  Today I am going to go over the different choices out there and hopefully come to a decision for each one.

Rumors: Nids pushed back.

While rumors are just just vapor till the white dwarf hit I am sad that the current thread is that the Nids are pushed back to January.  I thought the perfect end of the year of the bug would be a new shiney codex but I guess tha tthe year will just have to be extended. 

New Forgeworld Tau

So forge world has given their spin on the Riptide battle suit and man does it look cool.  I am a sucker for large gun arms.  I think that is why I like the eldar titans.  I just think a mech with guns for arms remind me of the old battletech mechs.

Tyranid rumor Reaction - everything else

Yesterday I talk about the rumors I heard on HQ's and Elites.  I heard some of them were made up.  Specificly the ones about the prime and the venomthrope named characters. I really was not impressed with those rumors. Just remember, with all rumors, until you see it in print in a codex or official faq there is a chance for it not to be true. So, with that disclaimer, let's continue our journey through the units.

Last time I covered the rumors that were posted about the HQ.  This post I will focus on the Elites.

The elite section is very crowded.  In there are units like Ymgarl Stealers, Hive Guard, Zoans, venoms, and the all-important Doom of Malan'tai.   Let's see what the rumors have to say.
